About

I am a Philosophy PhD Candidate (ABD) at Queen's University, Canada. 

I currently work as a Teaching Assistant in the Queen's University Department of Philosophy and the Trent University Department of Philosophy. I also undertake several different roles in extracurricular university service, including as a Student Advisor with the Queen's University Society of Graduate & Professional Students (SGPS), a member of  the SGPS Finance Committee and SGPS Awards Committee, Graduate Student Research & Academic Subcommittee (GSRAS), and the Principal's Advisory Committee (Decanal Search Committee). This winter, I am also employed as a Curriculum Design and Research Support Intern in the Faculty of Arts and Science as part of the Queen's Doctoral Internship in University Administration (QDIUA). 

Prior to attending Queen's, I completed my two undergraduate degrees simultaneously in a compressed five-year program. I graduated from Trent University in June 2022 with my Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy. I subsequently graduated from Swansea University, Wales, in July 2022 with my Bachelor of Laws (LLB). In August 2023, I completed my Master of Arts (MA) in Philosophy specializing in Political and Legal Thought at Queen's University, with my thesis focusing on technological substantivism and the role of driving as a focal practice. I completed my second Master's, a Master of Laws (LLM) at Queen's University Faculty of Law during the first-year of my Philosophy PhD with a focus on interdisciplinary work in metaphysics and the philosophy of law (September 2024). 

In my spare time I grow pumpkins and care for my six cats.
